A woman who came to New Orleans for Mardi Gras is reportedly missing.
"Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating 34-year-old Jessica Pratt from Iowa," NOPD Officer Garry Flot said in a news release. "Her brother advised that she came to New Orleans Wednesday, February 6, 2013 to work at local clubs for the Mardi Gras weekend. The following Friday, Pratt was last known to have been staying at a Hotel in the 2800 block of Tulane Avenue."
Police say Pratt suffers from a medical condition and she may need her medication.
"Her brother advised this is uncharacteristic of her," Flott explained. "He became concerned when he was unable to contact her and has not seen or heard from her since."
The NOPD news release provides the following description:
Jessica Pratt is described as a Caucasian female, 5'7” tall 120 pounds, and shoulder length blond hair and hazel eyes. She has a tattoo of a cross on her right hand, a heart on her left hand and the initials JP on her ankle.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jessica Pratt is asked to call 821-2222.
