NOPD spokesman Frank Robertson told WWL-TV one of the victims was in critical condition, while the three others are "stable" at a local hospital with what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Police reportedly have surveillance video of the incident outside a strip club.
“We had an immediate response, if you look you also see the light tower, we had troopers and officers out on the scene immediately. We were out on the block actually making a gun arrest at the time,” said NOPD 8th District Commander Jeff Walls.
