Sunday's Krewe Du Monde Parade in St. John the Baptist Parish has been moved up an hour, due to the forecast of potential severe weather.

The parade, originally scheduled to roll at noon Sunday, has been moved to 11:00 a.m. pending weather conditions.

The decision was made by St. John Parish Officials in conjunction with the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office and a Krewe Du Monde representative.

The St. John Parish Emergency Operations Center is monitoring weather forecasts for any changes.
