The New Orleans Fire Department said a one-alarm fire broke out at the iconic F&M Patio Bar on Tchoupitoulas St. early Saturday morning. The fire broke out about 2:30 a.m. and was brought under control in about 30 minutes. Flames were coming out of the bar and lounge as a large crowd gathered outside. There was no word on the extent of damage or of any injuries. This is a time that would likely have been one of its busiest times of the year for business, known as the place for all-nighters in New Orleans.
