Will it rain on your parade?

After postcard-perfect weather for Super Bowl weekend, we're looking at a chance of rain for tonight's parades as several days of Carnival festivities kicks into high gear.

WWL-TV's Derek Kevra says rain is possible for the rest of today.

"We'll see spotty showers for the rest of Wednesday afternoon, with about a 40 to 50% chance of rain during tonight's parades."

Kevra says heavier rain and the possibility of thunderstorms should hold off until after the Wednesday night parades.

As for the rest of the week?

"The rain will be sticking around until Thursday morning, with most of it out of here by parade-time Thursday night.  I'm giving it a 20% chance of rain during Thursday night parades."

Kevra says Friday and Saturday look great for parading, with only slight chances of rain on those two days.

As for Sunday, Kevra says he's predicting a 40% chance of the wet stuff.
