Foggy commute has drivers slowing down and looking out

The fog that blanketed the metro area this morning got drivers' attention.

A lot of drivers told WWL First News that you've got to pay attention and slow down.  Which means the morning drive is going to be a little slower:

"Yeah, you have to set out a little earlier," one woman told us.

"The fog's real bad," another driver said. "You've got to take your time."

"I think everybody should slow down a little bit, at least ten miles an hour below the speed limit," said another.

Other drivers say that even though they're cautious in the foggy weather, they worry about the other driver who might not use as much common sense.  Although one driver pointed out that stupidity often isn't dependent on current weather conditions.

"I always worry about that," he said.  "Foggy, sunny, rainy."
