Despite power loss, Super Bowl visitors have super good time

It may go down in history as "The Blackout Bowl."  A power surge early in the third quarter knocked out half the lights in the Superdome, and it took more than half-an-hour to resume the game.  And when the lights came back on, so did the San Francisco 49ers, pulling within a touchdown of winning before ultimately losing to the Baltimore Ravens, 34-31.

More than a handful of fans who there who thought maybe the 'Niners would pull it off.

"Oh yeah, I was scared," a Ravens fan said this morning.

"Yeah, we though it was the end of the run," said another.

"I just didn't want to lose the momentum, and that's kind of what happened," another Ravens fan told us.

Despite the power loss, just about everyone, even San Francisco fans stunned by the loss, say today that they had a terrific weekend here in the host city, and say they'll be back to New Orleans, even if it's not for a Super Bowl.

"Oh, it was great, hard not to enjoy it," enthused one fan, about to pile into a taxi outside his hotel.

"Loved it here, we'll bring the family," another fan said of her stay.
