3 times the normal crowds at the airport

Huge crowds are heading out of New Orleans today.  New Orleans Armstrong International Airport is expecting three times the normal passenger load as Super Bowl fans head out of town.

"It will definitely be a busy, busy, busy airport," Airport Spokeswoman Michelle Wilcutt said.  "We've planned for about 42,000 passengers outgoing; including all of our charters, we have the teams departing, friends and family, and all of the guests that came in for the big game.  So it's going to be a busy day.  Definitively give yourself at least three hours."

Despite the massive crowds, the line have reportedly been moving along.

"They are moving quickly, TSA has doubled the normal number of screening points,"  WWL TV's Bill Capo reported.
