Local restaurants to be packed, but there's an app for that

Super Bowl Sunday is always the biggest pizza delivery day of the year, but here in New Orleans this weekend the wait time will likely be long for just about every kind of pre-made food.  We're now getting into the height of Super Bowl crowds and it might not just be busy at restaurants in the city, as Super Bowl-goers are staying in a 100 mile radius of the Superdome at this point.

But there's an app for that.

Tourism officials have helped in the development of the app EatNowNOLA.com and Wendy Waren with the Louisiana Restaurant Association says that app will show you 40 restaurants in your immediate area with estimated wait times.

You can use that app from a computer too.

Click here for the Eat Now! New Orleans app.

Waren says the higher end restaurants could be especially busy now, "A lot of corporate sponsors are in, and a lot of NFL owners and they're all be entertaining and they're doing it in our restaurants.  And that's a fabulous windfall for us."
Sunday is also the busiest day of the year for pizza delivery in the U.S.
