Alleged child porn producer arrested in Ponchatoula

Cops have arrested a Northshore man for allegedly making child pornography and raping someone.

"A Ponchatoula man has been arrested and charged with aggravated rape and three counts of pornography involving juveniles," Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell said in a news release.

State and local authorities were involved in the investigation.

"Agents arrested Robert Swan (above), 51, of 39790 W. Sam Arnold Loop, following a joint investigation involving the Attorney General's High Technology Crime and Fugitive Apprehension Units, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office," the release said.

Cops raided the suspect's home.
 
"After a search warrant was executed at Swan's residence, agents found evidence showing that he was involved in the possession, production and distribution of child pornography. Further evidence obtained from his computer led to an additional charge of aggravated rape."

Swan faces up to 60 years in prison if convicted on the child porn charges and life in prison if convicted of aggravated rape.
