Arrest in case of murdered mother, baby and 7-year-old

UPDATE: Sheriff says 34-year-old David Brown accused of three counts of murder, two counts of rape, one count of arson and one count of attempted murder.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre will hold a news conference today to announce an arrest made in the murders of a woman and her two daughters.

The triple homicide happened in November.

"Sheriff Webre will announce details of the investigation into the incident that resulted in the death of 29-year-old Jacquelin Nieves and her two daughters, seven-year-old Gabriela Nieves and 20-month-old Izabela Nieves," Deputy Brennen Matherne said in a news release.

Cops did arrest a man the night of the killings for allegedly breaking into an apartment in the same complex, but have not said if they believe he is the killer.
