The NOPD is investigating a shooting on MLK Boulevard which reportedly injured at least five people.
WWL-TV reports the shooting happened near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and LaSalle Street.
A gunman reportedly opened fire from a vehicle, targeting teens in an MLK Boulevard storefront, according to WWL-TV. Their injuries aren't considered to be life-threatening.
The annual Martin Luther King Jr. day march from New Orleans City Hall to MLK and S. Claiborne Avenue had passed by the scene about a half-hour before the incident.
