The Jefferson Convention and Visitor's Bureau unveiled its 2013 line-up of Family Gras artists today.

This year marks the sixth anniversary of Jefferson Parish's Family Gras tradition and organizers say this year's festival coincides with Super Bowl festivities and will be a two-day extravaganza of carnival and concerts. Family Gras will give visitors for Super Bowl a unique opportunity to experience carnival parades since New Orleans parades are suspended for that weekend.

This year's Family Gras is expected to attract record crowds due to the number of out-of-town visitors for Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. Family Gras will take the spotlight on February 1 and 2 just across from Lakeside Mall.
