A Baton Rouge Judge has ordered a recount of the razor-thin vote that extended tolls on the Crescent City Connection for 20 years.

The hotly-contested Nov. 6 election was decided by a review of 20 final absentee ballots.  The "yes" votes to continue the tolls won by just 16 votes out of more than 300,000 cast. 

State Representative Pat Connick, who has steadfastly opposed the measure to continue tolls, says the logistics for the recount by officials should be worked out soon. 

Connick says the recount will involve recounting the absentee votes in Orleans Parish, not a recount of the entire 300,000+ votes.
