The National Weather Service has issued a hard freeze warning for areas north of Lake Pontchartrain tonight, 

St. Tammany, Washington, and Tangipahoa Parishes are expected to see temperatures dip into the mid-20's for an extended period after 9:00 plm. 

The hard freeze warning area also extends into Mississippi and to the west toward Baton Rouge. 

South of the lake, parts of the Metro area will see a light freeze, with lows between 28 and 32.
