The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office says four teenagers were shot after a group of young men showed up uninvited at a house party and shots were fired.
It happened about 11:30 Saturday night in the 400 block of East Butterfly Circle in Terrytown. A sheriff's office spokesman said the injuries did not appear to be life threatening, although one of the victims was shot in the face.
Sheriff Newell Normand said six uninvited men showed up at the party and once inside, shots were fired and four people were hit.
The six men then were seen fleeing the scene in a Dodge Charger. A short time later State Police stopped a car matching the description of the vehicle, with just one person inside.
Deputies said one witness was brought to the scene and a positive ID was made of the driver.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
