Analyst: Jindal is running for president

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has reportedly met with an extremely wealthy donor who has shown interest in helping fund the campaign for a 2016 GOP presidential bid.

Politico says, "Three Republican governors mentioned as 2016 presidential candidates - Bobby Jindal, John Kasich and Bob McDonnell - each stopped by the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino to meet privately with its owner Sheldon Adelson, a man who could single-handedly underwrite their White House ambitions."

Pollster Bernie Pinsonat, with Southern Opinion and Media Research, says there is no doubt that Jindal is preparing for a presidential campaign.

"Jindal is a man on a mission.  He wants to be president," Pinsonat told WWL First News.  "The real job he wants is to be president of the United States."

Pinsonat says the governor made his intentions clear after last month's presidential election.

"When you see him jump up and criticize Romney's campaign, talk about what he did wrong and what needs to be done right, you're talking about Jindal running for president."

He says any speculation about Jindal running for U.S. Senate is off base.
Politico says Jindal's meeting with "super PAC sugar daddies" is part of the new way politicians must go about organizing a presidential bid.
