The NOPD says a man brazenly used a tow truck to steal a luxury SUV from a parking lot Sunday in broad daylight. (Scroll down to view video of the crime.)
Police say the theft took just a few minutes.
Investigators say surveillance video shows a black Ford F250 or F350 tow truck pull into a lot in the 1400 block of Canal, hook up to a black 2007 Cadillac Escalade, and head out westbound on S. Robertson Street.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
