Tulane changing conferences



Tulane University has scheduled a news conference for this afternoon where, ESPN reports, the school will announce it's leaving Conference USA to join the Big East conference. 

Tulane was a founding member of Conference USA in 1995.

The Big East has recently lost West Virginia, TCU, Pitt, and Syracuse. 

Also joining Tulane in the move to the Big East:  Boise State, San Diego State, Memphis, UCF, Houston, and SMU.

The current schools in the Big East include Cincinnati, Connecticut, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, So Florida, Syracuse, and Temple

Tulane has scheduled a 1:00 p.m. news conference to talk about the new alignment.
