The Powerball jackpot rolled over when no one matched all six numbers in Wednesday night's drawing. It's an estimated $325 million for Saturday night's drawing. So what would you do if that much money just dropped in your lap?
For some folks, it's an easy question to answer.
"I'd buy residences in about four cities and travel Europe," said one man in New Orleans Central Business District. "Spread it around my family and I wouldn't have to worry about anything but my investments."
For others, it can be a little more difficult.
"I can't answer that!" another man said. "I mean, I put money in the office pool every week, but the likelihood of winning is what, like getting struck by lightning twice?"
Actually, the odds of winning the grand prize are one in 175,223,510 according to the Powerball multi-state lottery, which is why some folks say even though they play, they chose not to think about how they would spend the money -- they'll only worry about that if it actually happens.
