According to the sheriff's office, school administrators received a report of a gun on campus. They placed the school in lockdown and sheriff's deputies and school personnel searched the campus, locating the gun and the student.
The sheriff's office says the other students "handled themselves with patience and maturity, and school resumed as normal."
