Man arrested for shoving steak in pants... again

Houma cops have arrested a man they say has repeatedly shoved meat in his pants at the Wal-Mart on Grand Caillou Road.

"Upon arrival officers discovered a male suspect had entered the store and took four (4) T-bone steaks out the cooler, hid them in his pants, and left the store without paying for them," Houma Police Chief Todd M. Duplantis said in a news release.

The suspect is identified as 62-year-old Robert Louis Carter (above).

Duplantis added, "Officers also learned that Mr. Carter was caught on three previous occasions for the same offense at Wal-Mart and was banned from the store property."
Carter faces charges of theft of goods by a multiple offender and entering and remaining in a location after being forbidden.
