The New Orleans Saints came back from being down 14 points twice to get the win over the Buccaneers in Tampa. The final score: Saints 35 - Bucs 28.
Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins had the play of the game when he chased down Tampa WR Vincent Jackson and tackled him on the 1 yard line after a 95 yard pass and run. The Saints D then stopped Tampa on four tries to get the ball in from the one yard line.
The Saints offense had to dig out of a big hole after Tampa opened the game with 14 unanswered points, seven of them after New Orleans QB Drew Brees had a tip pass intercepted.
After giving up 21 in the early going, the Saints D stiffened and allowed only 7 points in the second half.
The Bucs had the ball with 5 seconds left and appeared to score a TD, but the receiver had stepped out of bounds and came back in to catch the ball. The game ended on the penatly.
Drew Brees threw four TD passes in the win.
