Report: Local attorney extored by male escort over alleged sex tape

Media outlets in Orlando report that a "prominent New Orleans attorney" was the victim of an extortion scam by a male prostitute who threatened to release a video of their encounter.

According to the Orlando Sentinel and WFTV-TV, the alleged unnamed victim is described as a prominent New Orleans businessman, attorney, and race-car driver.

The reports say that the New Orleans attorney allegedly met the alleged prostitute while in Los Angeles on personal business.

The WFTV and Orlando Sentinel reports say that later, the male escort contacted the victim and claimed to have compromising photos and videos of their encounter.

The attorney reportedly paid the alleged prostitute $4,000.  However, the reports say that when the alleged prostitute demanded more, the attorney contacted police. Officials reportedly arranged for a "sting" operation in Orlando and arrested the suspect.

The suspect is identified as 25-year-old Terrill Lewis (above) of Titusville, Florida.  WFTV-TV reports that the suspect has been arrested 32 times since 2005.

The reports do not indicate if there actually ever was any video/photos of the alleged encounter.
