Terrebonne high school closed after girls get in fight

Two girls got into a fight at South Terrebonne High School Thursday afternoon, and administrators released all the school's students early to keep things from escalating.

"The situation was such that we wanted to get everyone out of there before something serious happened,"said Superintendent Phillip Martin.

Martin said the friends of both girls "appeared like they wanted to get involved."
The fight started at the end of third hour, the last period of the day. The school went on lockdown before releasing students early.
