An Uptown New Orleans man is suffering from multiple bullet wounds after a carjacking. 

Police say the man suffered two bullet wounds to the upper tourso.  An NOPD Lt. tells the Uptown Messenger that it happened when two men approached the victim in his driveway at the corner of Camp and Delachaise and demanded his Cadillac Escalade.

The carjackers reportedly shot the man after a confrontation and fled in the SUV. 

It was one of four reported armed robberies Uptown overnight. 

Two suspects were caught in the Musicians' Village area of the Upper 9th Ward after a chase of another stolen vehicle.
