Attorney Scott McQuaig is the Public Service Commission's special counsel:
"We're investigating Entergy, Entergy New Orleans, SWEPCO, DEMCO, CLECO, any of the utility power companies across primarily the southern part of Louisiana," said McQuaig.
He's heard the stories about utility trucks stuck in parking lots and people complaining of not seeing power line crews in their neighborhoods for days after the storm... but he says he doesn't want anecdotes. He says the PSC needs information that can be documented.
"We're not interested in a witch hunt, we're not interested in petty complaints, but what we are interested in evidence of situations that could have been prevented," McQuaig said. McQuaig said he also is looking for any positive testimony about the utilities, too.
He said that information can be given to his law firm at (504) 836-5070.
