There was a bomb threat called into the LSU campus today.
The University issued a statement on its website: "A bomb threat has been reported on the LSU Campus. Please evacuate as calmy and quickly as possible."
It follows similar threats Friday at universities in Texas and North Dakota.
State Climatologist Barry Keim was among those trying to get off of the LSU Campus.
"Suddenly we have 30 or 40,000 people told to leave campus, and everybody just flooding out all at once," Keim described. "It's just bumper to bumper traffic and we are just inching our way on through."
