Orleans public schools open Tues., JP schools on Thursday



All  Recovery School District (RSD) direct-run schools and Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) schools will reopen tomorrow, September 4, following closures last week as a result of Hurricane Isaac.Jefferson Parish public schools are schedued to reopen this Thursday.

 The following area Catholic schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, September 4th:

Archbishop Rummel High School, Metairie
Our Lady of Divine Providence, Metairie
St. Agnes, Jefferson
St. Augustine, New Orleans
St. Catherine of Siena, Metairie
St. Cletus, Gretna
St. Francis Xavier, Metairie
St. Rita, New Orleans
Visitation of Our Lady, Marrero

St. John the Baptist Parish Catholic Schools will reopen Monday, September 10.

All other Catholic schools in the area will be open.
 
The Eastbank Collaborative of Charter Schools sent the following information on school opening dates:

Morris Jeff Community School

OPENING THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 6
International School of Louisiana (Orleans and Jefferson Campuses)

OPENING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10
Audubon Charter (Gentilly and Uptown Campuses)
