President Barack Obama comes to Louisiana as part of his Labor Day travels.
"While in Louisiana, the President will meet with local officials and view ongoing response and recovery efforts to Hurricane Isaac," a news release from the White House says.
The president will make a speech while in Laplace.
"In the evening, the President will deliver a statement to the press in Saint John the Baptist Parish."
President Obama gets here after 4:00pm. His statement in Laplace is expected after 6:00pm.
