The tropical systems we've been tracking are both staying far away from Louisiana.

"Tropical Storm Ernesto is going into Central America," Channel 4 Meteorologist Laura Buchtel said. "At this point it's just a weak tropical storm."

She says it will make landfall in Belize or the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.

What is left of the former Tropical Storm Frances is no threat to any land.

"It may kind of just degenerate into a tropical low over the next day or so," Buchtel explained.
