Despite facing the busiest time of her life, with the reelection campaign, First Lady Michelle Obama can at least dream about taking a vacation. During an interview with Charlie Rose for CBS News, Mrs. Obama picked New Orleans as her top choice of any place she could visit in the world.
''We saw Mount Rushmore and we've tried to go to every national park but the truth is, New Orleans, " she said. "I've been there several times but I've never been to the French Quarter.''
The reason for why the First Lady hasn't had a chance to look around in the Crescent City?
''Because when we're there we're usually working, we go in we go in some back freight elevator," she said.
Charlie Rose suggested ''There's a Mardi Gras in her future.'' Mrs. Obama responded '' That's right a Jazz Fest of some sort is out there.''
