Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal went on national TV this weekend to reiterate Louisiana will not set up a health insurance exchange, which is required by President Obama's health care law.

The exchanges are designed to help people buy health insurance from a range of companies, but on NBC's "Meet the Press," Jindal said it doesn't make sense to do it.

"I do agree we need to reform the health insurance marketplace.  I do agree the status quo is unacceptable.  I just don't think this expensive, unsustainable entitlement program is the solution to our problem," Jindal said.  "Think about adding millions, 16, 17 million Americans into an unreformed Medicaid program.  This is simply growing government health care."

The governor said a far better solution would be electing Mitt Romney president.

"I think it makes more sense to do everything we can to elect Mitt Romney to repeal Obamacare," he said.  That, he said, and growing an economy that can provide better jobs, so that people can afford health insurance.
