More gas stations are selling gasoline for less than $3.00 per gallon in the New Orleans area.

WWL's Steve Geller paid $2.83 per gallon Wednesday at the Exxon across from the Alario Center in Westwego.

Listeners have been telling us they are paying as little as $2.81 for regular.

That is at the 24-7 Discount at US-90 & W 9 Mile Point Rd

Most of the lowest prices are on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish.
