State Police have reopened I-10 traffic in both directions between Slidell and the state line following an overturned 18-wheeler.  

A crash by the big truck led to the interstate being closed in both directions for almost an hour. 

Trooper Nick Manale tells WWL First News that an eastbound tanker truck overturned in the median after losing control, rupturing the tank and releasing a "small amount" of a hazardous material.
