The New Orleans Saints have hosted linebacker Lofa Tatupu for a free agent visit.

Tatupu did not play last season after refusing the restructure his deal with the Seahawks.

STATS says, "Tatupu and Seattle... 'mutually parted ways' after the Seahawks defensive captain reportedly declined to restructure his contract. He was scheduled to make $4.35 million in base salary in 2011."

The STATS analysis says that Tatupu has struggled with injuries the past few years, including a torn pectoral muscle that cost him most of the 2009 NFL season. He also had surgery on both knees.
