Super Bowl Shrimp Dip Recipe



We were talking about our Super Bowl food plans, and listeners asked me to post this recipe... so here it is.  Special thanks to my mother in law for sharing.  Enjoy.

Maw in Law's Shrimp Dip

In a mixing bowl combine:
4.5 ounces of petit shrimp
8 ounces of cream cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon minced onion
1 tablespoon minced green onion
2 tablespoon minced celery
1 teaspoon pickled relish
Dash of favorite hot sauce (I am partial to Louisiana Hot Sauce)
Dash of Worchester sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste

Blend by hand, place in serving dish and chill one hour in the refrigerator

I like to eat it with crackers, corn chips, on celery or just by the spoonful.

Hot Corn Dip recipe that I talked about on WWL radio this morning...perfect for the Super Bowl y'all!

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup monterey jack cheese
2 tble chipotle peppers in adobo, chopped
4oz can diced green chilies, undrained
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 tsp garlic powder
11oz can yellow corn, drained
1 small tomato, chopped
2 tble chopped cilantro
2 green onions, thinly sliced

Mix first 7 ingredients in a casserole dish and bake at 350* for 20 minutes until bubbly. Top with tomato, cilantro and green onions. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips.
