The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office says the man who got up and left the courthouse after a guilty verdict in a violent sexual assault is back in police custody today.
Teddy Magee was at large for three days after jurors convicted him. He turned himself in this morning.
He now faces 20 years to life behind bars as a habitual offender.
