The governors of Louisiana and Alabama are making a friendly bet over the LSU - Alabama football game on Saturday.
"We're looking forward to winning this bet, looking forward to the Tigers beating Alabama and continuing to be number one," Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal said.
While the game between #1 LSU and #2 Alabama may determine which team gets into the national championship game, what is at stake in the gubernatorial wager?
"We've put up some Louisiana seafood," the governor explained. "They have put up some kind of famous sandwich that is made at a restaurant in the shadows of their stadium."
The Sandwich is called the Mammoth. It's a big BLT with 13 strips of bacon. Jindal expects to split that with LSU football Coach Les Miles.
"It can't compare to our seafood, like their football team can't compare to our Tigers."
The governor predicts LSU will win big.
"No contest, I think our Tigers are easily going to beat Alabama," Jindal said.
