Snow in the forecast for tomorrow

If the sudden 35 - 40 degree drop in temperature hasn't put you in the Christmas mood, maybe this will get you in the holiday spirit: snow!

"It looks like the ingredients are going to be there late tonight early tomorrow," said Channel 4 meteorologist Chris Franklin. 

He said any snow would most likely happen north of Lake Pontchartrain: "South of the lake? It doesn't look like it." 

A winter weather advisory goes into effect at 9:00 p.m.

Areas that don't get snow will get rain, but everywhere will be cold: Upper 40s are the forecast high for today, and low 40s are the projection for tomorrow.
