Andrus Peat ruled out for Saints-Falcons tonight

The Saints offensive line took a hit

The Saints can't catch a break on the offensive line.  Guard Andrus Peat will not play tomorrow night against the Falcons due to a grown injury.  Peat hobbled through the win over the Panthers Sunday, and Coach Payton probably feels it is best to rest Peat’s injury.

Every player on the offensive line who started the season has missed at least one game with an injury, excluding Center Max Unger.  The Saints have done a good job mixing and matching healthy players, but The big factor here - Peat has been huge for them in the running game.

Others listed as questionable against the Falcons:  CB Marshon Lattimore (ankle), S Marcus Williams (groin), LT Terron Armstead (shoulder), RB Mark Ingram (toe) and DE Trey Hendrickson (knee).

I think Lattimore has a really good chance to play tomorrow night along with Armstead.  I don't see the Saints facing Atlanta without both their starting guard and left tackle.

Hendrickson injured his knee in Sunday’s Panthers game, but returned to action during the win.

Ingram should also go in the game against the Falcons, I'm not overly concerned about his injury.

The Falcons are a desperate team sitting at 7-5.  With a loss to New Orleans the Dirty Birds would pretty much be eliminated from playoff contention.  Desperate teams often find ways to win games like this, and that could play out at home in the Mercedes Benz Superdome.  However, I am picking the Saints to pull it out 26-20.
