Tommy: Preparations for Harvey underway around the state

As Hurricane Harvey moves closer to making landfall in Texas, officials around Louisiana are preparing for whatever the storm brings to the Bayou State.  

I spoke with Mike Steele, Communications Director for the Governor's Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness, to find out what steps the State and Governor's office are taking.

We checked in with local officials as well.  New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu gave us an update on the precautions they're taking, plus he addressed some concerns over the pumping and drainage systems.
