The LSU Tigers are looking for a bounce back week on the football field after a disappointing 37-7 loss to Mississippi State last weekend.  At first glance it would seem a game against the usually hapless Syracuse Orange would be good chance for the Tigers to get-healthy.  However, this team is 2-1 and comes in with the nation's third best 3rd down defense, allowing opponents to convert only 16% of their opportunities.

Bobby Hebert isn't concernet, however, sees LSU cruising to a win on Saturday.

"(The point spread) is still 23 points," Hebert noted.  "I don't know if LSU will cover.  I think they'll win, but 23 points is a lot."

The Tiger defensive line got dominated last week against the Bulldogs, and Hebert thinks that they'll face a different type of challenge with Syracuse's quick tempo offense.  "You look in the trenches, I can see those big guys sucking (wind)," he said.  "LSU got whooped bad in the trenches against Mississippi State."

If you're looking for a prediction, the Cajun Cannon has it for you.  "I look to LSU to win . . . I think it will be a double digit win."
