It is the handshake heard around the world. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have had their first ever, highly-anticipated face-to-face meeting at the G20 summit in Germany. Trump took to Twitter before his meeting with Putin to say that there is much to discuss.

The following tweet from Fox News showing the initial encounter between Trump and Putin set off a Twitter firestorm as the two leaders have been at the center of international controversy since Trump's presidential campaign last year.

That tweet and the video set the Twitter-verse into a tizzy.

Trump and Putin are among the 20 world leaders in attendance through tomorrow. The summit traditionally touches upon issues of global significance, including economic growth, international trade, and financial market regulation.
