What will be different in the third match up of the season between the Saints and the Panthers this Sunday in the Wild Card Playoffs?

"He'll yawn at some of your formations if you don't change it. Every iota of your formation has to be changed," said coach Sean Payton when talking about Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly.  The point from Payton is both of these teams know each other so well that you can expect both teams to have some new wrinkles this week to show a different look.

The buzz word phrase this week is "it's really hard to beat a team three times in one season".  Is it really? Since the NFL/AFL merger teams that won the first two games against an opponent in a season are 13-7 in the third match up of the year.  So what can the Saints do differently? That's the hot conversation in both camps this week.  The Saints have the edge in game planning with Sean Payton but expect both teams to have something new in the plan this week.

Home field advantage will likely be the biggest factor in the game.  The Saints are 7-1 this season in the dome this year, and the Who Dat Nation will play a huge role in the outcome of the game on Sunday.  In the regular season match up with the Panthers the Dome was rocking with readings on the noise meter of 110 decibels, but that needs to be even higher this week. I'm challenging the Who Dat's to break the 115 decibel mark on Sunday.

It's been six years since Saints fans have had the opportunity to cheer on the black and gold in the Super Dome in the playoffs.  Let's go!
