A battle of perfect Bulldogs?  The East is going to be controlled by the winner of the UK vs Florida game this weekend.  The Doors play their biggest home game in school history.  And the warm/hot seat bowl takes place between the Aggies and Hogs this weekend.  Let's take a look at how I stack of the mighty SEC.

  1. Alabama – Alabama did not look to sharp in either of their last two games and now face an un-expected road test at Vanderbilt?  Hey man I’m not making this stuff up you know!  Last week beat Colorado State 41-23 / this week @ Vanderbilt.
  2. Georgia – UGA got back home and handled their business in a big win over Samford.  And now a big East vs West tilt takes place between the hedges against those other Bulldogs from the West Side!  Last week beat Samford 42-14 / this week vs Mississippi State
  3. Mississippi State – One of the most impressive performances in the Dan Mullen Era.  Don’t look now but these Dogs from Starkville are two straight wins away from being a top 10 Team.  QB Nick Fitzgerald has set the tone for what could be another magical run for Dan Mullen’s Dogs!  Last week beat LSU 37-7 / this week @ Georgia.
  4. Florida – I don’t care how you win.  A win is a win!  The Gators keep their winning ways going against the Vols with a last second prayer a week ago.  And don’t look now but could control of the Eastern Division be on the line this week in Lexington?  Please believe it.  Last week beat Tennessee 26-20 / this week @ Kentucky.
  5. Kentucky – I was wrong about this team.  Coach Stoops has the Wildcats playing as good as any team in the East.  And a win this week would put these Wildcats in serious contention for the SEC East Title.  And nope I ain’t talking hoops either!  Last week beat South Carolina 23-13 / this week vs Florida.
  6. Auburn – Auburn is looking more like a team that is not going to contend in the West more than anything.  The Tigers should have an easy time with Missouri this weekend.  Well everyone else has at least.   Last week beat Mercer 24-10 / this week @ Missouri.
  7. Vanderbilt – the Doors are a good team.  Yes I know the Mighty Crimson Tide are heading to Music City, but regardless this is a good team that will win some games this season.  Last week beat Kansas State 14-7 / this week vs Alabama.
  8.  LSU – Undisciplined play has cost LSU and it will continue to cost these Tigers more and more unless they get right.  I don’t know what to make of this team and I don’t think we will be able to get another feel for this team until next month!  Last week got beat by Mississippi State 7-37 / this week vs Syracuse
  9. South Carolina – The Gamecocks were soundly beaten at home last week.  I don’t think this is a bad team.  UK was just better.  The loss of WR Samuel is a big blow to this offense for sure!  Last week lost to UK 13-23/ this week vs Louisiana Tech.
  10. Tennessee – What a shame.  To get beat like that.  Oh well like the ole ball coach once said.  You can’t spell Citrus without U-T.  Last week lost to Florida 20-26 / this week vs UMASS
  11. Arkansas – The Hogs need a win this week cause if they don’t then Coach Brett B will be the latest coach moving from a warm seat to a hot one!  Last week BYE / this week vs Texas A&M.
  12. Ole Miss – I figured a cross country loss was going to happen.  But I’m still thinking the Rebels can have a winning season.  Last week lost to Cal 16-27 / this week BYE.
  13. Texas A&M – Coach Kevin Sumlin can buy himself some time with a win this week over rival Arkansas.  A loss and then the help him pack chants will only start to rise once again.  Last week beat UL Lafayette 45-21/ this week @ Arkansas
  14. Missouri – You decide what to say here.  I thought Missouri would at least be able to score some points in all their games.  Like I said, I thought!  Last week got beat by Purdue 3-35 / this week vs Auburn.
