It’s looking more and more like a winner take all showdown in the Atl come early December.  As far as which team is 3rd best in the SEC right now well that’s a pretty good debate.  And if you want to discuss which teams are holding up the bottom of the league, well that’s pretty much debatable too! Here’s this week SEC Rankings.

1. Alabama – Six straight against one of the last teams to pin an SEC loss on them.  That was way back in November of 2011!  You know Alabama can lose a game and still not be in bad shape for landing in the playoffs.    Last week BYE/ this week vs LSU.
2. Georgia – UGA has gotten to the place to where even with a loss as long as they would beat that monster named Alabama in the Atl they would make it to the playoffs!  Last week Florida 42-7/ this week vs South Carolina
3. LSU –  Ok Tigers if you are for real then prove it.  I think this team is still a ways away from Tide talking.  Last week BYE/ this week @ Alabama.
4. Auburn – Auburn can still do a lot of damage if they win out.  If they win out I said.  Last week BYE/ this week @ Texas A&M.
5. Mississippi State – You know when it comes to talking about who can do some damage MSU is not mentioned.  But the Bulldogs are in position to land in one of the best bowls the program has ever played in.    Last week Texas A&M 35-14/ this week vs UMASS.
6.  Kentucky – Ok the Wildcats got a huge late TD run to keep what could be a special season alive.  Now UK entertains an Ole Miss Team that can’t play defense.  Last week beat Tennessee 26-24 / this week vs Ole Miss.
7. South Carolina – The Gamecocks got a big win over the Doors and now get their shot at the best in the East.  Good luck with that one!   Last week Vanderbilt 34-27/ this week @ Georgia.
8. Texas A&M – Coach Kevin Sumlin was seemingly off the hot seat going into the final stretch of the season.  But after a convincing home loss to the MSU Bulldogs I think KS needs to run the table to have any shot to save his job in College Station.  Last week lost to Mississippi State 14-35 / this week  vs Auburn.

The Rest
I really don’t know what order to place the remaining teams as it seems pretty even towards the bottom half of the league.

Florida – This is a bad team that has a coach that no one really wants.  Oh well another big time job Last week lost Georgia 7-42/ this week @ Missouri
Ole Miss – Blew a 24 point lead!  Oh well it’s not like the Rebels Fans had high hopes for this season.   Last week Arkansas 37-38 / this week @ Kentucky.
Tennessee – So long Butch.  You know they will be looking for new coaches in Knoxville and Gainesville this November.  Last week lost to Kentucky 24-26/ this week vs USM.
Arkansas – A 24 comeback win over the Rebels might kickstart the final push for Brett B to save his job.  Might be I said!     Last week Ole Miss 38-37/ this week vs Coastal Carolina.

Vanderbilt – Another hard fought loss for the Vols.  But hey Coach Mason is putting together one of the best recruiting classes in Vandy history.  Last week South Carolina/ this Western Kentucky
Missouri – The Tigers got a huge Last week UCONN 52-12/ this week vs Florida.
