More warm weather and some fog are in the forecast the rest of the week.

"It is a mild start to the day with patchy dense fog - especially over the lakes and rivers. Watch out for reduced visibility through 9 AM," WWL-TV Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum said. "We will stay unseasonably warm and humid today with a mix of sun and clouds. There is a slight chance for a shower or two."

He says high temperatures will be in the upper 70s.

Tonight will see more patchy fog with mostly cloudy skies.

We get even warmer after that.

"An upper-level area of high pressure will sit over the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday and Friday. This will keep our weather pretty quiet with partly to mostly cloudy skies each day. It will stay warm and humid with highs around 80," Nussbaum forecasts.
