Cops have identified a suspect in the shooting of two teens in Central City. One of them has died.
They are looking for 52-year-old Gregory Johnson. He allegedly critically wounded the 14-year-old victim by shooting him in the head. A 15-year-old suffered less severe injuries.
"Around 7:30pm, two teenaged boys were shot near the intersection of Brainard and Josephine Street," Officer Frank Robertson said in an email. "A 14-year was transported to the hospital in critical condition while a 15-year-old is listed in stable condition."
The 14-year-old has since died.
Neighbors say they children are brothers.
A third teen was not hurt.
"The subject ran after three young teenagers; critically wounding one, striking another, but missing the last," according to the wanted poster.
