Steve: How do you stop Lebron? Duh, blow in his ear

The Pacers proved they weren’t dead yet pulling out a 93-90 win in game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals over the Heat, but the big (or just strange) story is Lance Stephenson’s new form of defense vs. Lebron James.

The Pacers guard blew in Lebron's ear!  Stephenson has been trying to get inside of James’s head this entire series and apparently the only way to do so was too actually force his breath into the King’s noggin.

Laugh all you want, but it worked! James battled foul trouble all night long and finished with a playoff career low 7 points.

“All the extra stuff, whatever Lance wants to deal with, I don’t really care about that,” James said. “Lance is Lance. He’s going to do what he needs to do to help his team win.”

Could we see other player’s follow this new form of distracting a player?  I sure hope not.  Last thing I need to see is Anthony Davis blowing in Dirk Nowitzki’s ear.

Anyway, the Heat still own a 3-2 lead in the series and look to close things out on their home court tomorrow.  Miami is looking to advance to the Finals for the 4th straight year.

How will Lebron respond Friday night?  Will he have ear plugs?

even if it worked, it was not fair. And LeBron could have gotten in trouble had he started something. I think LeBron for him tomorrow night. I hope LeBron wins.
